This is why I wanted you to test setting *grabKeyboard to false.  It is
possible that that will do exactly what you want.  Also, this is why I
wanted you to test other VNC viewers.  If, for instance, TigerVNC works
properly, then I can look at what they're doing and do likewise.  Since
you can easily reproduce the bug, it makes sense for you to perform
these tests.
