Well, all I can say is that there are thousands of people using TurboVNC in 
multi-user and grid environments with no issues, and even more using other 
flavors of VNC whose scripts behave similarly. The -fg switch was developed 
specifically for SGE, so I fail to see why it would not be relevant.
