Hi,
I've noticed some font problems since switching from TigerVNC Server to
TurboVNC Server (with Mesa) - on certain applications, the fonts are difficult
to read.
I haven't been manually specifying a font path - just using the default.
TigerVNC Server uses $fontPath = "catalogue:/etc/X11/fontpath.d"
Does TurboVNC Server support using a "catalogue" for the font path?
Is there a way to configure TurboVNC Server to use the same font path as
TigerVNC Server?
My /etc/X11/fontpath.d/ contains:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 36 Feb 26 21:01 default-ghostscript ->
/usr/share/fonts/default/ghostscript
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 30 Feb 26 21:17 fonts-default ->
/usr/share/fonts/default/Type1
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 27 Feb 26 20:41 liberation-fonts ->
/usr/share/fonts/liberation
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 27 Feb 26 21:29 xorg-x11-fonts-100dpi:unscaled:pri=30 ->
/usr/share/X11/fonts/100dpi
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 Feb 26 21:29 xorg-x11-fonts-75dpi:unscaled:pri=20 ->
/usr/share/X11/fonts/75dpi
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 29 Feb 26 21:29 xorg-x11-fonts-cyrillic ->
/usr/share/X11/fonts/cyrillic
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 25 Feb 26 21:29 xorg-x11-fonts-misc:unscaled:pri=10 ->
/usr/share/X11/fonts/misc
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 24 Feb 26 21:28 xorg-x11-fonts-OTF ->
/usr/share/X11/fonts/OTF
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 24 Feb 26 21:28 xorg-x11-fonts-TTF ->
/usr/share/X11/fonts/TTF
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 Feb 26 21:29 xorg-x11-fonts-Type1 ->
/usr/share/X11/fonts/Type1
Cheers,
James
