Dear users,
I have recently upgraded from Ubuntu 12.04 to 12.10 and I ran into several
problems whereas the former config was working like a charm
(VirtualGL/TurboVNC combo)
I notably had problems regarding authentication. First updating to TurboVNC
1.2 allowed me to access my desktop.
Now I have no menu from Unity or the taskbar. I read that it might be a
problem of authentification linked with gnome. I have tried a couple of
workaround but without success like adding that line to xstartup.turbovnc
gnome-session --session=gnome-classic &
after having installed gnome-pannel
If you had similar problems and found a solution I would be happy to know
about it
