The VirtualGL 2.3.4 pre-release fixes a major performance issue with PBO readback on ATI hardware, as well as a bug in glXChooseFBConfig() that affected some applications (it was particularly known to cause a crash with LWJGL-based applications on ATI hardware.) The TurboVNC pre-release adds the following new features: -- full support for remote desktop resize. This can currently be triggered either through the X RANDR extension on the server, through the TigerVNC Viewer, or through the TurboVNC Java viewer. Full client-side support, including the "auto resize" function that TigerVNC has, will be added before TurboVNC 1.3 is released. -- Xvnc is now buildable with CMake, so you no longer have to do 'make xserver' when building the TurboVNC Server, and cross-compiling should work now. In particular, users of non-Linux platforms should verify that everything still builds properly. -- The Java applet can now be embedded in a web browser, if you set the new "Embed" parameter to "1". This is still experimental, and there are some known issues with it (most notably, keyboard focus problems whenever some of the dialogs are popped up.) -- vncconnect is now synchronous, so its return status will now reflect whether a reverse connection was successfully made. -- Reworked Mac packaging system.
