I cannot reproduce this, but let's back up for a minute. There is no version 2.3.4 yet. Thus, you are using either a pre-release build or your own build that was made from subversion, or possibly someone else's build. In that case, I need to know where the build came from. If it's one of my builds, then please specify the build date. For pre-release builds, I always attach the next release number to them, because that keeps the update mechanism for the various packaging systems working properly. However, until the code is officially released, that release number may or may not have any real meaning.
I cannot for the life of me figure out where you are picking up the diff you listed below. The "%dir %{libdir}" line is clearly in our version of the spec file and has been since VirtualGL 2.3.2. Are you having the same issue with the official VirtualGL 2.3.2 and 2.3.3 RPMs?
