it is a mainstream (kernel.org) 2.6.13-git7
but i will try it with 2.6.14 and report the results :-)

I would suggest you to go with 2.6.13.x because it may be an incompatibility introduced between 2.6.13 and 2.6.14, so, 2.6.14 may have the same problems.

I usually wait the .0 release and adapt my code to support it but with low priority.

Bye,

From the 2.6.14 ChangeLog.

commit 8728b834b226ffcf2c94a58530090e292af2a7bf

   [NET]: Kill skb->list
Remove the "list" member of struct sk_buff, as it is entirely
   redundant. All SKB list removal callers know which list the
   SKB is on, so storing this in sk_buff does nothing other than
   taking up some space.
Two tricky bits were SCTP, which I took care of, and two ATM
   drivers which Francois Romieu <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> fixed
   up.

Sorry, not skilled to fix.
