Well, a combination of two laptops (of different brands - so the laptop
is not an issue here), with Skype clients 1.4 (1.4.0.84 to be exact)
works great. No headsets, full duplex, everything works great. But I
know, that with the version 1.3 it was not possible to talk to
eachother, without headsets.
So I assume, they somehow done something about the acustic echo
cancellation problem.

My father uses it often to talk to an employee in our other office, and
both use speakers and microphone, and often have a hard time understanding
eachother unless they turn off their mics when not speaking...
(When I call either one with my headset, all works fine tho!)
