I've been trying to debug my installation with a Quad-port beronet card now for about a good 8 weeks straight annoying most of you guys on the list. tcpdumps, all debug messages and what else more couldn't bring me a step further. I still couldn't make a call via ISDN. I even thought about throwing my machine out the window and stick with my ancient telco PBX ;-)
Since I didn't now what else to do I went out and bought a cheap € 25 single-port HFC card just to make sure. And guess what?! The new card worked out of the box! I couldn't check deeply on the echo/ delay issues yet but since I'm now part of the club I'll let you know. So far not a trace of (disturbing) echo, that much I can tell. Yippiee!! I think I go out and grab a beer... THX to all trying to help me and making me keep hanging on.
