I'm getting this error too with 1.7 version: Checkout operation for 'https://serverName:8443/svn/projectFolder/ project' failed. svn: Path 'https://serverName:8443/svn/projectFolder/project' is not canonicalized; there is a problem with the client. svn: REPORT of '/svn/projectFolder/!svn/vcc/default': 400 Bad Request (https://serverName:8443)
Uninstalling version 1.7 and reinstalling version 1.6.3 it works fine.
