Hello I'm using IF.SVNAdmin - this is available at http://svnadmin.insanefactory.com/ There are 2 functions which are very useful for me: - I can set "Project Manager" permission to user, and they can administrate permissions only to their repository (or part of repository) - users can change SVN password by them self (I have also integrated password change with my company internal ERP)
There are also more usefull functions, but this 2 above are this which i must to have. At this moment i didn't upgrade VisualSVN Server at production environment and I still use version 2.5.10. I did make a test on developing machine and I'm sure that IF.SVNAdmin doesn't work with VisualSVN 2.6.x. In configuration proces IF.SVNAdmin require to set path to authz file (one file per server) I also wrote about this problem to author of IF.SVNAdmin, but still without answer: forum thread: http://www.insanefactory.com/forums/topic/upgrading-to-subversion-1-8-in-visualsvn-server-2-6/ issues list: https://github.com/mfreiholz/iF.SVNAdmin/issues/42 Best Regards Dariusz Grabowski W dniu wtorek, 3 września 2013 12:16:39 UTC+2 użytkownik pavel.lyalyakin napisał: > > Hello Dariusz, > > > In VisualSVN Server starting from version 2.6.0 there is change in > > authorization method: Move authorization settings to per-repository > files. > > We have other software that use authorization file to read some > information > > from this files, after upgrading VisualSVN Server that software doesn't > work > > anymore. > > > > Is there any possibility to switch back VisualSVN 2.6.x to old > authorization > > method (one per-server file)? > > It's not possible to switch back to per-server authorization file in > VisualSVN Server 2.6 however we'd be glad to help you with the issue > you've encountered after upgrading. > > * What kind of software do you use that accesses the authz / > authz-windows file?
