The error indicates that there is some connectivity issue. Most likely, you are not able to reach VisualSVN Server at all. A couple of clues: * Make sure that you use the correct URL to access the repository, * Make sure that the firewall on VisualSVN Server machine allows connecting to it from your LAN.
