Hi Jimmy & VM-L at large.
Vanessa's movie will play on HBO and then make its way to ABC in the Spring.
Both companies invested in the project.
As for VM-L, I'm glad that Maysan and I can bring it back.
We have selected a very quick and reliable server and expect it will work
consistently well all the time. As time goes on we will try and make some
improvements as the need arises, possibly add an announce list for specific
Vanessa-Mae announcements. As for a digest, I expect that is something many
people will prefer and it is something Maysan and I will need to look into
setting up. As with Frank, our time is limited and it is hoped that the
list will basically run itself. All I ask is to please try and stay on
topic, don't provide pages of copied text or images, and please be courteous
and polite in your postings to vm-l,... you know,. use good judgement
please.
I would also like to apologize to those who have visited the "What's New"
page on VMH and found nothing new. I was unfortunately involved in an
important disaster,.. I mean project,.. at work that ran on 12 hour days and
many weekends so I didn't get to add any updates. There has been a
performance by Vanessa in Munich for the Michael Jackson and friends,... go
to http://www.mcy.com and see a short bio on Vanessa, and short backstage
interview (video). The concert was also broadcast on the web. Did anyone
attend the concert and can give a summary of Vanessa's 15 minute set.
Vanessa has also been active in a number of recent activities with The Red
Cross as I believe someone posted to the list. And also posted in a Concert
in Malaysia on 30 August.
