Basically their problem was they tried interactive hubs and 1) it was two much work at center 2) remote hubs are technically not so easy for non a/v people to handle 3) attendance was not what they had hoped. Myself, I think that individual remote participation is usually a better experience in terms of interactive, except in some connection challenged locations. However like the meetings themselves, a hub's value is very much in the f2f 'hallway' discussions.
