the osa definition is identical for GBE and 1000BaseT. There is a technote

Are the gen's/config's (IOCP, TCPIP) the same for the new OSA as for the
older OSA GBE?
In other words can we have a z900 with OSA GBE for production and OSA
Express-2 1000base-T at the DR site without any changes?

Ann,

We have both FC3364 (LX) and FC3365 (SX) cards on our z990 IFLs. Using them
with z/VM 5.1 for VSWITCH connectivity.
