Thanks, Alan. Some progress has been made....

I have imported the self signed certificate into the key database and
have verified that it is there.

I am using the IBM Global security Kit option in the security tab of
PCOMM. Now when I attempt to connect, I am prompted for the key database
password (I'm prompted twice, btw) and then I get a connection failed
error message, with an error number of 420.

Should I enable SSLSERV tracing now? And when I do a SSLADMIN TRACE ....
command does the SSL server need to be restarted to pick up the trace
option?

Thanks again.
DJ
