Sort of makes you wonder, doesn't it?

According to: "z/VM CMS Application Development Guide Version 5 Release 1.0" (SC24-6069-00)
(and various other manuals, including the Quick Reference Guide -- home of lots of good overview material in the front) filemodes 7-9 are reserved for IBM use.  Presumably some nefarious programming schemes by Chuckie?  Makes me wonder what I'd find by searching the CMS source code.

Filemode 7-9?

Totally obscure thing, but hey, it's Friday:

Was reading the RSCS manuals and ran across a comment that restart
execs could be filemode 1,2,4,5 and 6, but should not be 0,3, or 7-9.

I know what filemodes 0-6 are -- what are filemodes 7,8, and 9 for?
