As David notes below, IPGATE (Thanks, Perry!!) works very well as a communications path between separate SFS resources. It also works very well as a communication path between *other* resources that CP might know about, e.g., the (optional) Performance Toolkit for z/VM.
Performance Toolkit can monitor several VM systems from a central site, and IPGATE can provide the communications pathway very nicely for this function. Have a good one, too.
