SYSTEM NETID has no bearing on the system identifier. If the wrong one is being displayed then: 1. The parm file you think is being used isn't actually being used 2. There is a [tolerated] syntax error in your parm file (run CPSYNTAX) 3. You haven't reIPLed after modifying SYSTEM CONFIG 4. There is a CPU-specific SYSTEM_IDENTIFER statement that is overriding SYSTEM_IDENTIFIER_DEFAULT. SYSTEM NETID defines the local NJE node ID. Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
