 Reactivating Dirmaint with the new merged direct is done by putting 'user
direct' on dirmaints 1df disk as 'user input'. When dirmaint is restarted
he will rebuild the cluster files. Just in case you forgot how already. It
sounded like you were doing the updates via dirmaint commands. Good luck.
