"PROM monitor"? IBM fully supports all of our zSeries operating systems (z/OS, z/VSE, z/TPF and of course z/VM). However, we view z/VM primarily as a hypervisor environment, not for CMS type workloads. That being said, we still support CMS workloads. Products are often withdrawn from marketing (but perhaps not from service) as they are not in common use (such as NetView/VM). However, we have withdrawn products before and then changed our minds due to customer concerns. We do make mistakes! ;-) Jim
