I have/had some xedit macros, sort of like Rich's. They tried to leave
some mini disks alone...
There are a few gotchas (no such thing as no cost!):
1. If there are write links, you may not want to ask Dirmaint to move it!
2. If there are read links, you may not want to ask Dirmaint to move
it! Dirmaint *will* move it, but stale links will have a disk that
never gets updated ... until you happen to reuse the space and then
those users will have an outage (if they try to use "their" disk) ...
and the new user of the space will wonder why so-and-so is linked to his
disk. I just found it easier to move mdisks to a pack or group that
didn't include the pack I was "cleaning".
3. Dirmaint my not move your recomped mini disk nor non-CMS mini disk.
Maybe it does now, but it didn't on my v2.3VM.
