I missed that they were in separate CECs. Indeed, the OSAs must be in the same brodcast domain, usually accomplished by simply placing them in the same VLAN. If the two OSAs are not plugged into the same switch, then the switches must be trunked together to allow the VLAN to span switches. Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
