3 systems with ISL links and 1 using IPGATE... and SFS.

Set this trace on the IPGATEd and 2 of the ISL'd systems,
then update a file from the 4th system, both of the ISL'd get
09:54:05 *** 0105B5B0    EXT     4000 -> 00F23290

but nothing on IPGATE one, and updating a file on the IPGATEd one and the
other systems will recieve it.

I first noticed Filelist wasn't updating with a PF2  and I believe I've
lost a file or two but haven't been able to recreate it the losing files.

Anyone seen this? There isn't a CRR machine on the IPGATEd system, could
that make a difference?

Does the user have SFS directories accessed? When you do, there's an
IUCV connection to the SFS server so that it can invalidate the
directory in the CMS virtual machine. One would hope the SFS server
does the invalidate only once, but I have never looked. And there
would be a connection to the SFS recovery server but I cannot see that
would cause traffic.
I would be tempted to run a TRACE EXT TERM in the userid and I could
let you borrow the code that reads the vtime/ttime from the VMDBK in
microseconds.
