In the ESS 800 Performance Monitoring and Tuning manual (SG24-6422-00) on page 53 it states "the ESS strips for FB devices (non S/390) are 32 kilobytes in size", but never mentions what the strip size is for CKD devices. I've searched most of the ESS manuals & Redbooks and havn't been able to find it. Does anyone know?
