Hello, We are running z/VM Version 3 Release 1.0. How or where do you force vm tcp-ip to preserve French character accents when a file is FTPed up from a PC to VM ? Is there a translation table somewhere ? Or is it based on the filetextension of the PC file?
The problem is that when we ftp a file from Windows using WS_FTP-PRO the French accents are being dropped or translated incorrectly once the file is in CMS. An example is ..... é is being translated to i in the CMS file. I apologize if this has been asked before. Thank you, Neil
