Stefan, it is probably heretical of me to ask and I risk a visit from They Who May Not Be Named, but I am very curious: Why are you running z/VM? If you planned to run multiple Linux guests (appl. testing, kernel upgrade testing, clusters, ...) then I could see it, but you say you are only running one guest plus the usual VM housekeeping CMS guests.
