I would prefer to have to update this information in one
place a'la SYSTEM CONFIG. And since the default location for
SYSTEM NETID is the S-disk, changing this file also involves
resaving CMS. Which for many NOOBE's is pretty daunting.

I, too, had considered some specification of system_id in
the SYSTEM NETID 
so that CPU IDs need only be in SYSTEM CONFIG.
