Yeah, we need to get it going under something similar for VMS. I don't
remember if PCA does that or not.
I don't really believe the purify claims, though. There are some code
changes when building with purify, so there are differences between a
purify and non-purify build. (Not to mention the VMS-specific bits)
The odd bit is that this all works with Dec C 6.0+ & VMS 7.1+
