Works. One of my big ToDo list items is a metaconfigish thing written in 
perl to autogenerate subconfigure.com so the non-VMS folks can mess with it 
when Configure changes. You'd be amazed at how tired I am of last-minute 
patches over new config.h substitutions... :)
