I agree with this, but I'd also like to find out all we can about any
bugs in the ALWAYS_DEFTYPES code; I'd hate for it to become a Frequently
Asked Bugfix, since I dunno when 5.6.1'll be out (though I hope .1 releases
will follow hard on .0 releases in general).
