I am sending this report following the instruction of the 'Readme.vms'.
Hopefully, this is the right place to post this report.

I tried three times to build Perl 5.6-0 by giving different answers to the
'@configure' step.  It completed fine, and the 'MMK' step is fine too.  At
the 'MMK TEST' step, it gave me three failures, and hang at the last one.
Though, when I ran the [.vms]test on pod1usage.t, it would complete all of
its tests.  I am running Alpha Openvms 7.1-1H2, with DEC C 5.6.

They are:
 [.lib]glob-basic........FAILED on test 3
 [.lib]vmsish............FAILED on test 7
 [.pod]pod2usage.........FAILED on test 1
