I just updated the VMSPIPE patch available at
http://www.crinoid.com/perl560.htmlx
It's a minor change in the "first time initialize list of places
to look for VMSPIPE.COM" logic. It seems that when you embed
Perl, the PL_origargv pointer is never set (duh!) and so using
it to try and find $^X gives an ACCVIO.
So, test for non-null PL_origargv added, ordering of directories
searched modified slightly to match previously posted comments.
