Here's all the piping code, collected into one big patch and transmitted
as a GZIP'ed attachment so hopefully perl.org will let it through.
The patch includes (using filenames from crinoid.com):
vmspipe_20000508.patch (revised from previous to use l.c. "sys$"
and "lib$" calls, to keep VAXen happy)
vmsishtest_20000419.patch
vmspipe2_20000425.patch
vmspipe3_20000509.patch
plus a patch to "patchlevel.h"; thought it was about time to do that.
It's at the front so can be easily removed if necessary.
BTW, Dan...I think the piping changes provide just about all the
ingredients needed to implement the guts of "open3". Just add tuits,
mix well, and season to taste.
