I uploaded my two modules to CPAN. I settled on the names Data::FixedFormat and VMS::FlatFile. They can be downloaded from http://www.cpan.org/modules/by-authors/id/P/PF/PFAUT/. Some additional information is available at http://www.eclipse.net/~pfau/perl/. I was also working on a module to translate VMS logical names. This module is called VMS::Logical. As it was my first attempt at XS code, I'm just hoping Dan S. can find some time to give it a quick code review before I submit it.
