Hi,
I have been trying to install Perl-5.6.0 on my Compaq Secure (=Apache) Web server. I
have an OpenVMS ALpha and I'm working with Perl version 5.005_03 for VMS_AXP.
I send the outputs of the commands I've been instruct to run by the readme.vms
I don't know if I should have uninstalled the previous Perl version. I have Mod_perl
version 1.0 and a lot of CPAN modules installed on it. Do I need to install everything
again if I success with the new Perl version?.
The need of installing the new version comes from the intention to install Digest MD5.
That modul needs MakeMaker which is on Perl-5.6.0.
I'm really lost on a jungle of modules. I just wanted to install the Apache::ASP
modul. Each modul leads to another, that leads to another, that leads to another, etc.
