Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately I ran out of time today to test it
on VMS (or on a case sensitive file system as you suggested).
Your comment:

seems to imply that [.vms]descrip_mms.template could use some updating
doesn't it? FWIW I hit a rebuild snag with my extra_pods.com proposal
for configure.com && [.vms]descrip_mms.template so I may not be touching
it for a bit yet.
