I have a vague memory that there was something in vmsfspec where the test 
did not keep up with a change in the api, but it's bestt to figure out 
exactly what's going on by doing the following from your main perl source 
directory:

$ @[.vms]test .exe "" -"V" [.lib]vmsfspec.t
