OK, I concede the distinction. ODS-5 preserves case, thus allowing
an *application* to be case sensitive, which is what Brian needs for
the current implementation of Inline. But ODS-5 is not available on
a large proportion of existing systems (VAX or pre-7.2) and you can't
use it on a system disk yet, so whether or not I used the proper
terminology I was right that it won't help us here.
