Dunno about esoteric platforms, pet or otherwise, but all tests are
successful using Compaq C 6.2 on OpenVMS Alpha 7.2-1, with TCP/IP
services, -des configuration. I'm currently building with
-Duse64bitall, Compaq C 6.4, though older compiler/OS versions,
different TCP/IP vendors, and VAXen are of greater concern. For
those who only follow vmsperl, the snapshot locations are listed
below; please test and report (or preferably fix) any test failures
you notice on your sensible, reliable, everyday platforms (the
computer, not the shoes :).

P.S. The name derives from yesterday's release date and seems to
indicate a reversal in policy in which useful, commonsense work is
forbidden 364 days a year but is allowed on 1 April.
