Err, I almost forgot.  In US Naval observatory units that'd be:

 $ dir/size 9841_patch.

 Directory SYS$COMMON:[SYSMGR]

 9841_PATCH.;1             54  25-APR-2001 18:58:40.93

 Total of 1 file, 54 blocks.

that is, 54 x 512 byte blocks ;-)
