Folks, In trying to debug a recent problem, I made the mistake of rebuilding my vms perl install and modules with the latest and greatest versions, and reecountered a problem I bugged this list about back in december and january. Of course, I forgot to take notes on what exactly I did then to solve it, so I'm hoping one of you can help jog my memory. Specifically, see the thread culminating in the message: http://www.xray.mpe.mpg.de/mailing-lists/vmsperl/2001-01/msg00030.html wherein I note some problems I had trying to run dbi-ingres - it was crashing in the boot__DBD_Ingres XS module init routine on the dXSARGS macros. The immediately prior message in the thread by Criag Berry hints this is likely to be a perl image mismatch problem - but since I just rebuilt everything from scratch, I'm not certain what to think here.
