Hi folks,
I'm having trouble with a waitpid() call on VMS Perl 5.005_03 and
just need to know, please, if there is a work-around or if this is
a known problems. (Work-arounds involving upgrades are probably
not an option around here right now, unfortunately.)
The command is a simple
my $pid = waitpid( -1, &POSIX::WNOHANG );
which on Solaris (correctly) doesn't hang. On VMS this hangs with
no error reported.
Anyone have an idea? I didn't see anything in the Archives... or
CPAN... is the non-blocking waitpid just not implemented?
