Results confirmed here with
Compaq C V6.5-001 on OpenVMS Alpha V7.3, MMS V3.3-4.
Dan's haircut was helpful. I also see the
Multinet failure:
lib/Net/hostent.....................FAILED at test 5
which appears to be due to some call to (Speculation)
gethostbyaddr('127.0.0.1') returning a 62 char string
of: 127, 0, 0, 1, 0 x 58. That is 58 extraneous
trailing NULL characters(?).
