SYS$LOGIN:LOGIN.COM (Which is a regular DCL command procedure that's executed everytime you log in.) Alternatively, you could do something like $ CREATE ALIASES.COM $ unzip :== $mydisk:[mydir]unzip.alpha_exe and do $ @ALIASES to redefine your aliases. Or you can put all this stuff into mydisk:[myutilities] and do $ DEFINE DCL$PATH MYDISK:[MYUTILITIES] and it will look there first for .COM and .EXE files. (Careful about wiping out a system-defined DCL$PATH if there is one.) -- Alan =============================================================================== Alan Winston --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] Disclaimer: I speak only for myself, not SLAC or SSRL Phone: 650/926-3056 Paper mail to: SSRL -- SLAC BIN 99, 2575 Sand Hill Rd, Menlo Park CA 94025 ===============================================================================
