I'd like to add to Craig's comment that there are a couple of
archives of this mailing list. One is at:
http://www.xray.mpe.mpg.de/mailing-lists/vmsperl/
and there are others in the US. What you post will
be accessible on the web so do take care. On the
other hand the web archives make for great information
and old patching resources.

I haven't seen anything from Schwern in a few weeks so I don't know
what he considers the burning issues. If you're looking for a place
