The reason that doesn't work (at least by itself) has now come back to me. If I do that the tests end up looking for their libraries in ../lib, but "up one level" is nonsense when you're already at the root. We've definitely been down this path before but never come up with a clean solution that didn't break something else. I'm contemplating evil abuse of PERL5LIB, among other things. -- ________________________________________ Craig A.
