Too numerous to mention (I realise this is not helpful as a bug report). I've abandoned building a debug build for debugging purposes; I'll work on the original problem a different way. One problem that I've been able to identify with debug is that $(MMSQUALIFIERS) is interpolated with DCL single-quote substitution in the MMS file. A debug build breaks the quoting. The original problem is that something is wrong with time. Hmm, that sounds like an idea for a bad Dr. Who script. Somewhere in the depths, the daylight savings time adjustment is being applied in the wrong direction. I'm still trying to figure out why, and what "use VMSish time" is about. I did go up the blind alley (I think) of wondering why the timezone rule starts GMT0BST-1 instead of GMT0BST+1 but it turns out that this is just a subtle joke by the authors of the POSIX standard.
