i have read the messages on the web site about the telnet problems and
decided to mial you hoping you can solve my problem
with your richness knowledge.
first,my problem is every time i try to make a connection with telnet i fail all
what i do is :
1-make aconnection through the internet explorer of windows me.
2-execute telnet .
3-in the connect field i put the folowing address
host name: whois.iternic.com
or google.com
or yahoo.com
port: telnet {leave it as it is}
term type: vt100
4-connect
5-then the message is {couldnot make a connection to the web site}
nor whois.internic.com niether google.com or yahoo.com......
Q.do the proxy setting of my server which is [proxy.scs-net.org-port 8080]
affect telnet connection?
Q.do windows me affect telnet connection?
Q.what do i need to do to make a connection using telnet?
please help me by sending me the method of telnet connection in a clearness easy
way .....
