I've got enough interest to at least ask what the machines are. VAX emulation under OpenVMS Alpha, Windows, Linux, or Mac OS X will usually provide better performance, consume less power, and occupy less desk or shelf space than actual VAXen. There are some here, though, who might be interested in the care and feeding of VAX hardware for its own sake, which does not necessarily conflict with Perl testing, but is also not necessarily the easiest way to get the most Perl testing done. If there are some Alphas in the mix, that may be an entirely different story, depending on how old they are. -- ________________________________________ Craig A.
